The concept of the Accurett is based on cryotherapy which is the controlled destruction of unwanted tissue by the precise application of extreme cold.

The Accurett sprays out a jet of C02 at a temperature of -690C targeting the age spot with pin point accuracy. The goal is to freeze the skin growth as quickly as possible, and then let it thaw slowly to cause maximum destruction of the skin cells. Destroying the cell and eliminating the build up of melanin on the surface of the skin.
